Amazing coffee and knowledgeable staff. As a coffee nerd the only issue I had is that I hadn’t found this place sooner! I had an aero press which was great. The staff were friendly and really knew their stuff. Coffee nerds, this is the place for you.

There’s no question in my mind this is the best, most impressive coffee shop I’ve ever seen. Walk in and the smell of fresh roasted coffee and view of the spitting fire immediately immerses you in coffee heaven. We spend maybe a couple of dollars more per pound than the grocery store to get coffee that is in a different league entirely. Their coffee and selection is phenomenal. The staff is always lovely and knowledgeable. Thanks so much Roasterie!!!!!

This place is one of the best coffee place in Calgary. They do roast their own coffee beans and offer such an amazing selection of coffee beans. I think they are unique in proving asian coffee origins.

Great coffee and baked good. Coffee is a little on the pricier side but it is definitely worth is, best coffee I ever had. There’s a few tables inside and it is very spacious. Relaxing music and atmosphere. Staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly.

3. Devil’s Head Coffee
Devil’s Head Coffee is a smaller-sized roastery that is making big waves with their excellent coffee. They offer a variety of fairly-priced, locally roasted single origin coffees that melt in your mouth.
They are Calgary’s highest rated coffee roaster and are quickly building a community of die-hard coffee enthusiasts.
One drawback is the roastery’s location off Barlow Trail in Calgary’s industrial sector – it’s a little difficult to get to. However, you can order Devil’s Head coffee online or find it in a variety of retail locations across the city.

I am a coffee lover. I tried a lot of coffee from different stores, and I find that Devil’s Head Coffee is the best in Calgary. The taste was rich and smooth, having a great cup of coffee is the best way to start a day. Definitely will order it again!

When I don’t roast my own, Devil’s Head is my favourite roaster. And because of Devil’s Head and the Rwanda roast in particular, I am roasting less and less!

4. Rosso Coffee Roasters
Rosso Coffee Roasters is quickly becoming a household name among Calgarians. They offer a variety of delicious single-origin coffees that can be accessed easily in one of their 5 cafe locations across Calgary.
We love how they offer a quiz to discover which Rosso coffee you might like best based on your flavor preferences and prefered coffee making method. They also provide some guidance on grind level depending on your coffee making method.
Rosso offers a variety of delivery frequency options for their subscription plans, which is something most coffee roasters don’t do. This makes it easy to personalize your subscription based on your coffee drinking habits.

Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters offer a fairly good variety of coffees from different origins and with different processing methods. Every coffee enthusiast will be able to find something they love.
One thing we appreciate about Phil & Sebastian is that they offer tasting classes, workshops and roasterie tours. They go above and beyond to make coffee fun and approachable for both the casual coffee sipper and the knee-deep coffee aficionado.

A great spot in a busy hustling mall to grab some great cooffee. Amazing roasters, and often carry seasonal coffee from different origins which makes it a dybamic place to go over and over again. They also have cold brew, which is my go to in the summer months!
Anu, from Google
If you want a well crafted latte or a single origin pourover, this is the spot. As with all Phil & Seb locations, the staff are very well trained.
