Rogue wave is easily becoming my go to for specialty beans: they have an absolutely incredible rotating selection of beans to choose from, accurate and non pretentious descriptors, they’re always freshly roasted to perfection, and with all of the traceability that anyone could ask for and then some.

A family friend recommended we try this place while passing through Edmonton. We did, and we were very glad we did. One of the owners made us a flight of different coffees. I was impressed, but the cortado I tried with their Ethiopian natural process espresso was the best part. Really nice staff. Great selection of products. I wish this were my local spot.

Transcend coffee is so different — read better — than the regular grind, that at first I wasn’t even sure how much I liked it. Now, I buy two cups to-go, because one just isn’t enough. Treat yourself, you won’t find better coffee in Edmonton.

They consistently draw out the best that their beans have to offer. The respect and passion for coffee is real. Regardless of your tastes they’ll have something you’ll love.

I never knew I liked black coffee until I had it from here. It’s such a quality product that I feel it would taint it to add anything. The owner roasts everything in house, literally feet away from where it ends up in your cup and he has a definite passion for the fine tuning. Different flavor profiles means there’s a taste here in for everyone and theyre worth trying, especially considering they’re small batch and rotate out occasionally once he runs out of the beans he imports.

I’ve been such a fan of Roasti ever since they opened up in Sherwood Park. So exciting now to have them in Edmonton on Whyte as well!!! You absolutely must try their coffee. I have never had coffee that is so consistently crafted – always rich and smooth, with no hints of sourness. Their retail beans are also incredibly high quality, I particularly love their espresso blend yummmm.

The coffee is delicious and well made. Other nearby coffee shops just don’t have the same bean quality or barista skill level. Plus the focus here is entirely on coffee. They do one thing and they do it with excellence.

Kevin was very helpful! I came in with only a vague flavour profile I was after in a coffee, and he found me exactly what I was looking for. I will absolutely be back!
